Srinagar, Feb 21 (KNO): As part of the Civic Action Program, the 43 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) flagged off a five-day Bharat Darshan Tour for 20 students from Budgam.
The tour was inaugurated by R Jayakumar, Commanding Officer (CO) of 43 Bn CRPF, during a ceremony held at the District Police Lines (DPL) Srinagar, a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads.
The students, accompanied by a caretaker, will visit Delhi and Agra, where they will explore historical and cultural landmarks. The initiative covers all boarding and lodging arrangements, air travel, and other logistical support.
During the flag-off event, CO 43 Bn interacted with the students and highlighted the significance of the tour in fostering national unity. He encouraged them to embrace the diversity of India and gain valuable insights from their journey. Each participant was provided with travel essentials, including tracksuits, shoes, and bags.
Parents and students expressed their gratitude to CRPF for organizing the trip, calling it a unique opportunity to explore new places and broaden their horizons—(KNO)
